NSPCC Childline - Proudly Supporting Childline's 35th Anniversary year

This year we are supporting the NSPCC in their campaign to celebrate 35 years of Childline. Elsie&Tom have joined the NSPCC Childline 35 Club – just one of 35 companies who will raise £1000 each with all the monies raised going towards running Childline for one day.

I remember at the tender age of 12 when Esther Rantzen launched Childline. Since then it has gone on to help millions of children across the UK. Childline is a vital service for vulnerable children -providing them with vital support any time of the day or night.

The pandemic has been hard on everyone young and old but a staggering number of children have been affected, suffering isolation, poor mental health and abuse. During the pandemic Childline delivered 170,000 counselling sessions to vulnerable children and young people.

During the first spring lockdown, out of 17,000 counselling sessions delivered each month of the pandemic 50 children a day turned to Childline after suffering abuse or neglect.

Along with Diamond Prize Draw Partners Chenevix Jewellery we hope to raise awareness and show our support through the Diamond Prize Draw which marks 35th anniversary of NSPCC’s Childline. We very much hope that the Elsie&Tom community will join us in any way they can. We will be doing special fundraising events throughout the year to help towards our own goal of raising £1,000.
