Six Women-Led Independent Businesses Unite for a New Kind of Shopping Experience in Framlingham

The Corner Room pop-up brings together some of Suffolk's most exciting independent makers for six days this May.
Six independent, women-led businesses are coming together this May to bring something genuinely different to the heart of Framlingham. The Corner Room pop-up — running from Tuesday 5th to Sunday 10th May, 10am–5pm daily at 10 Church Street, IP13 9BH — is a curated gathering of local makers and independent retailers, all under one roof for six days only.
The pop-up is the brainchild of the women behind the brands themselves, who wanted to create a shopping experience rooted in community, creativity, and craft — something far removed from the high street.
Visitors can expect to discover an exceptional edit of independent goods, including handcrafted natural wellness and home fragrance products from Elsie & Tom, beautiful block-print textiles from Constance & Denny, artisan homeware and baskets from Slow Squirrel, gifts and accessories from Tangerine Dream, handcrafted silver and gold jewellery from Andrea Wright Designs, and speciality small-batch coffee from Prospect Coffee.
Emma Pratt Founder of Elsie & Tom, said: "We wanted to create something that felt really special — not just a market stall, but a proper shop space where people could spend time, discover new brands, and buy things they'd genuinely love. Every single one of us has built our business from the ground up, and there's something powerful about doing that together. Framlingham feels like exactly the right place for it."
The event reflects a growing movement among independent makers across East Anglia — one of collaboration over competition, and of bringing the best of independent retail directly to local communities in a meaningful, curated way.
